The TouchTale application is targeted to small children with visual impairment and multi-disabilities. The app is used together with a physical tactile book, preferably with help from a parent or another adult. It loads a limited set of tactile book page images, texts and sounds from a dedicated location in the web in real time. It requires the permission to access internet and to use Bluetooth for playing audio if applicable. Only the limited set of images, texts and sounds of the tactile book pages are presented to the users (child, or parent + child). The application does not include third party adds, does not collect, or require/ask a child to disclose any personal information, neither does it use Augmented Reality.
